The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (AiFL) was established in September 1968 and opened its doors just steps away from the sandy shores of what's known as the Gold Coast of Florida. Although a lot has changed throughout the years, the mission and goals of AiFL remain.
Fashion program in The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale has an almost 40 years of history. When in September of 1968 The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale opened its doors, it was already offering diploma in Fashion Illustration along with other specializations. Today, Fashion department is one of the biggest departments in The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and it offers Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising.
All costume design, textile design projects and portfolios as well as numerous fashion illustration projects presented on this website were accomplished as class projects in Fashion Department of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale as a part of Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science program in Fashion Design.
